Blackline fittings are designed to be used in horticulture, sprinkler and water irrigation systems. They can be used when irrigating sports turf areas, supplying irrigation to large water features or irrigating your garden/professional greenhouse.

A 16mm x 1/2″ BSP straight male threaded adaptor suitable for use with 16mm HDPE and MDPE irrigation pipe with a working pressure of up to 10 bar.

The fitting features a split resistant captive O-ring made from strong polyacetal to create a perfectly watertight seal.

The fitting body is made from polypropylene, high-grade copolymer that is easy and fast to install by simply inserting the pipe into the fitting body up to the pipe stop and tightening the nut ring.

To remove the compression fitting from the pipe, unscrew and remove the nut then, prise the grip/clinching ring from the pipe and remove the pipe from the main body of the fitting. Make sure you place the O-ring correctly back inside the body of the fitting before you re-insert the pipe.

Designed to be used in cold water irrigation systems and suitable for outdoor use in direct sunlight or in underground systems. The fitting is also frost proof and highly impact resistant.

Please Note: We recommend using PTFE tape for threaded connections.
