Bespoke Automatic Irrigation Design Service (Over 500m²)
Get a professional garden irrigation system project featuring a custom-engineered automatic irrigation layout tailored specifically to your garden’s unique layout, large-scale dimensions, and water parameters.
Information Required
To create your individual layout, please provide us with the following details:
•Scale Plot Diagram: A scaled drawing, landscape blueprint, or measured sketch of your garden showing overall dimensions. Please clearly mark buildings, pathways, lawns, flower beds, and specific planting zones (e.g., hedges, shrubs, conifers). Please note that this design service is specifically dedicated to larger garden areas over 500m²; exceptionally large estates or commercial grounds may be subject to a further bespoke quote.
•Water Source: Indication of your primary water supply on the diagram (e.g., mains water supply, borehole, or deep well). For large areas over 500m², noting the internal diameter of your supply pipe is also highly recommended to ensure accurate hydraulic budgeting.
•Flow Rate: The water flow from your intake. You can measure this by timing how long it takes to fill a bucket of a known volume (e.g., a 10-litre bucket).
•Water Pressure: Your static and dynamic water pressure parameters, measured in bar.
•Valve Box Location (Optional): Your preferred location on the plot diagram for the solenoid valve boxes. Because larger gardens require multiple watering zones, if this is left unmarked, we will position the valve manifolds at our professional discretion to optimise pipe runs and minimise pressure drops.
•Controller Selection: Your preference for an indoor or outdoor irrigation controller. For properties over 500m², we highly recommend smart, Wi-Fi-enabled controllers to manage complex multi-zone watering schedules efficiently. If no preference is stated, an indoor model will be selected by default.
What You Will Receive
•Bespoke Large-Scale System Design: A comprehensive, fully tailored automatic irrigation layout engineered specifically for your garden’s expansive dimensions as part of your complete garden irrigation system project. The plan will feature optimized hydraulic zone divisions to ensure uniform coverage and prevent pressure drops across large distances.
•Complete Bill of Materials: A detailed itemised list of all necessary large-scale components, correct pipework diameters, multi-zone valves, and fittings required for a successful installation, alongside a competitive price offer for the hardware.
•Design Boundaries: Please note that the irrigation system design covers the network starting from the valve box (solenoid valve manifold) onwards. Any pipework, pumps, filtration, or connections between the water source (mains, well, borehole) and the valve box itself (the main water supply connection) are strictly excluded from this design service.
How to Submit Your Project
Please email your garden plot diagram along with your water parameters (Flow Rate, Water Pressure, and Water Source) directly to our design team.
Terms and Conditions: Irrigation Design Service Over 500m2
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1. By purchasing this design service or paying the design fee, the Client automatically agrees to and accepts these MB Irrigation Terms and Conditions in full.
2. Design Service
2.1. The service consists of creating a bespoke irrigation system design based entirely on the data, measurements, and specifications provided by the Client.
2.2. The initial design fee includes the original concept layout and up to 3 rounds of revisions at the Client’s request.
2.3. Any further modifications exceeding this limit will be subject to an additional fee, which will be quoted individually.
2.4. The scope of the design service is strictly limited to the irrigation system layout downstream from the solenoid valve box (manifold) to the lawn/planting zones. The engineering, planning, and connection of the main water supply line (the pipework and infrastructure from the water source to the valve box input) is not included in this service and remains the sole responsibility of the Client or their contractor.
3. Project Cost Refund (Cashback)
3.1. Clients are eligible for a full refund of the design fee upon purchasing their system components from our store.
3.2. To qualify for the refund, the Client must purchase the complete component kit as specified in the itemised materials list provided with the final approved design.
3.3. A “complete kit” is defined as all essential components required to fully install and operate the system (including, but not limited to, controllers, solenoid valves, multi-zone valve boxes, sprinklers, appropriate pipework networks, and fittings) as dictated by the large-scale design.
4. Exceptions and Stock Availability
4.1. While we aim to maintain full stock availability across our range, an exception to clause 3.2 will apply if a specific product included in the design is out of stock at the time of purchase.
4.2. In such instances, the Client remains fully eligible for the design fee refund, provided they purchase all other available components of the recommended kit.
5. Accuracy of Data and Liability
5.1. The Client bears sole responsibility for providing accurate measurements of the land, garden boundaries, and correct water supply parameters (including flow rate and pressure).
5.2. MB Irrigation accepts no liability for the performance, coverage, or suitability of the design if it is based on incorrect, incomplete, or imprecise data provided by the Client.
5.3. MB Irrigation accepts no responsibility for the correct operation, functionality, or performance of the system if the installation is carried out by the Client or a third-party contractor. Optimal system performance is strictly contingent upon professional installation in exact accordance with the design specifications.
6. Process and Redemption
6.1. Once the final design is formally approved by the Client, a commercial quotation for the full set of components will be issued.
6.2. The design fee refund will be applied as a direct deduction on the final invoice for the materials, or processed via an alternative method agreed with our customer service team.
