LDPE Pipes are the foundation of any irrigation system

Irrigation Pipes

LDPE PE pipes for irrigation systems.

Effective and economically efficient irrigation of a crop requires the installation to be adapted to the site conditions, the water requirements of the plants and the weather conditions. Whether sprinklers, water cannons or drip lines are used, water has to be supplied from the location where it is treated and, in the case of fertigation, also mixed with fertiliser.

For this purpose, supply systems built from different types of pipe with parameters adapted to the project requirements are used. The most important selection criteria are the operating pressure and the expected average and maximum water discharge. These determine the internal diameter of the pipes and the required resistance to pressurised operation, which translates into the wall thickness and type of material used for manufacturing.

In irrigation systems using drip lines or tapes, the water flows under moderate pressure, so the optimum solution is to make the installation from PE pipes. They have very good technical parameters and a sensational price-performance ratio and durability.

DISTRIBUTION

PE pipes are available in a wide range of outside diameters, from 16 to 110 mm (in series: 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 75, 90, 110 mm). Depending on the diameter, the pipes are packaged in rings of 100, 120, 150, 200, 250 and 500 m in length. The pipes can be conveniently and tightly connected by means of screwed, pressed and threaded joints. The diverse range makes it easy to install irrigation systems reliably and in full compliance with the needs of orchard and agricultural crops and the maintenance of green spaces.

HIGH QUALITY WORKMANSHIP

The secret to the longevity of PE pipes purchased from our company is the additives we combine with the polyethylene granulate. The stabiliser increases UV resistance, while other components ensure the high mechanical strength and flexibility of the pipes. This makes the process of laying the pipes on the soil surface or underground easy, fast and safe. PE pipes can be laid out in virtually any area requiring irrigation, regardless of the type of soil and soil type.

RESISTANCE TO MECHANICAL, CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL AGENTS

Our PE pipes are robust and resistant to many chemicals present in water and soil, including fertilisers and precipitates. The pipes are not damaged by plant roots or rodents. Thanks to their exceptional resistance, PE pipes can be used for many years without the need to dismantle and replace damaged sections. This saves a lot of work, time and money. This is particularly important for pipes installed underground: in the event of damage, the leaking section can easily be cut out and replaced with a new one, connected using one of the many available connector types.
